This round trip is a carefully planned adventure through the most spectacular landscapes of the American Southwest – a perfect blend of natural wonders, culture, and discovery. This is followed by scenic icons such as Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, and the impressive Horseshoe Bend – every spot worth a photo, every moment unforgettable. Antelope Canyon is particularly spectacular, where light and rock magically merge before you lose yourself playfully in the pink dunes. Zion challenges you with wet hikes in The Narrows or lofty heights at Angels Landing, before Bryce Canyon, with its colorful rock needles, provides a contrast. The mysterious Pando Forest and remote Capitol Reef lead you to lesser-known but no less fascinating natural wonders. Moab serves as the base for two massive parks: the rugged Canyonlands and the arch-rich Arches. And with views of ancient cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde, the route finally ends in artistic Santa Fe. Itinerary

Day 1Arrive at Las Vegas

After beeing picked up at the airport and checking into your hotel, you’re ready to spend the rest of the day for your own convenience.

Day 2Explore Las Vegas, Nevada

Your journey begins in the vibrant desert metropolis of Las Vegas.

Full day: The day is free to get your impressions of the city.

Afternoon (approx. 3-4 hours): Take a first stroll along the famous Las Vegas Strip. Explore the themed hotels like the Luxor (Pyramid), New York-New York, or Paris Las Vegas.

Evening: Allow time for dinner (approx. 1.5-2 hours) and the famous fountain show in front of the Bellagio (occurs every 15-30 minutes).

Las Vegas Highlights:

  • The Strip: Stroll along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard and marvel at the impressive themed hotels, such as the Bellagio with its famous fountain shows, the Venetian with its canals and gondolas, and the Roman-style Caesars Palace.
  • Fremont Street Experience: Visit historic Downtown Las Vegas, where a giant LED canopy creates a spectacular light and sound show.
  • Shows and Entertainment: Las Vegas is world-famous for its world-class shows. Whether it’s Cirque du Soleil, concerts by world-class stars, or magic shows – there’s something for everyone.
  • Culinary Delights: The city offers an incredible variety of restaurants, from award-winning gourmet restaurants to casual diners.

Day 3From Las Vegas to Zion National Park, Utah (approx. 2.5-hour drive)

Leave the city lights behind and head east to Zion National Park, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers.

In Zion National Park:

  • Zion Canyon Scenic Drive: This road takes you through the heart of the canyon and offers spectacular views. During the summer months, the road is closed to private vehicles, but a free shuttle bus takes you to the various trailheads.
  • Hikes:
    • The Narrows: A famous hike through the Virgin River in a narrow gorge. You can go as far as you like and then turn back.
    • Emerald Pools Trail: A hike to three scenic “pools” fed by waterfalls. There are Lower, Middle, and Upper Pool Trails with varying difficulty levels.
    • Pa’rus Trail: An easy, paved trail that’s great for a late-afternoon stroll.

Day 4From Zion to Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah (approx. 1.5-hour drive)

Your journey continues to Bryce Canyon National Park, known for its unique, colorful rock formations, known as “hoodoos.”

In Bryce Canyon National Park:

  • Viewpoints: Drive along the park’s main road and stop at the numerous viewpoints, such as Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point, and Bryce Point. The view of the amphitheater of thousands of hoodoos is breathtaking.
  • Hikes:
    • Navajo Loop Trail: A popular, moderate hike that takes you down into the canyon and past famous formations such as “Thor’s Hammer” and “Wall Street.”
    • Queen’s Garden Trail: This trail can be combined with the Navajo Loop for a longer hike and also offers fantastic close-up views of the hoodoos.
Stargazing: Due to its low light pollution, Bryce Canyon is an ideal spot for stargazing.

Day 5From Bryce Canyon to Capitol Reef National Park, Utah (approx. 2.5-hour drive)

The journey continues to the less visited, but no less impressive, Capitol Reef National Park. The park is known for its geological diversity and its historic orchards.

  • In Capitol Reef National Park:
    • Scenic Drive: A picturesque road that takes you past many of the park’s main attractions.
    • Fruita Historic District: Explore the historic buildings of early settlers and pick fruit from the orchards in season.
    • Hickman Bridge Trail: A moderate hike to a stunning natural rock bridge.
    • Petroglyphs: Stop at designated spots to view Native American petroglyphs.

Day 6From Capitol Reef to Arches National Park, Utah (approx. 2-hour drive)

Today you’ll arrive in Moab, the gateway to two incredible national parks. The first is Arches National Park, home to the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches.

  • In Arches National Park:
    • Delicate Arch: Arguably the most famous arch in the park and a Utah landmark. A hike to Delicate Arch at sunset is an unforgettable experience.
    • Landscape Arch: One of the longest natural stone arches in the world.
    • The Windows Section: An area with several large arches, including the North and South Window Arches and the Turret Arch.
    • Reservations: Note that timed entry reservations may be required for entry to Arches National Park during peak season. Check the park’s official website before your visit.

Day 7Canyonlands National Park, Utah

Just a short drive from Moab lies Canyonlands National Park, a vast and wild park divided into three main districts by the Colorado and Green Rivers: Island in the Sky, The Needles, and The Maze.

  • In Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky District):
    • Mesa Arch: A famous arch offering spectacular “window” views of the landscape below, especially at sunrise.
    • Grand View Point Overlook: As the name suggests, this point offers grandiose views of the vast canyons.
    • Green River Overlook: Another breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Green River.

Day 8From Moab to Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado (approx. 2.5-hour drive)

Today, you’ll cross the border into Colorado and visit Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved Anasazi cliff dwellings.

  • In Mesa Verde National Park:
    • Cliff Palace: The largest cliff dwelling in North America. A ranger-led tour is required to visit, which should be booked in advance.
    • Balcony House: Another impressive cliff dwelling, which includes an adventurous tour involving ladders and narrow passageways. Reservations are also required for this.
    • Mesa Top Loop Road: A scenic road with numerous viewpoints of the cliff dwellings and the surrounding landscape.

Day 9From Mesa Verde to Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, Arizona (approx. 4-hour drive)

Your journey will take you back to Arizona to two more iconic sites near Page.

  • Lower Antelope Canyon:
    • Guided Tours: Access to Antelope Canyon is only possible with a guided tour operated by authorized Navajo tour operators. Be sure to book your tour in advance, as tours can sell out quickly.
    • Photography: The canyon is famous for its incredible play of light and the vibrant colors of the sandstone walls.
  • Horseshoe Bend:
The Overlook: A short walk from the parking lot takes you to a stunning overlook where you can admire the horseshoe-shaped bend of the Colorado River.
Best time to visit: Late morning and early afternoon typically offer the best lighting for photography.

Day 10Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona (approx. 2.5-hour drive from Page)

Today you will reach one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, the Grand Canyon.

  • At the South Rim of the Grand Canyon:
    • Overlooks: Drive along Desert View Drive and Hermit Road (accessible only by shuttle bus during the season) and stop at the numerous overlooks such as Mather Point, Yavapai Point, and Hopi Point.
    • Hikes:
Rim Trail: An easy, mostly paved trail that runs along the canyon rim and offers spectacular views.
    • Bright Angel Trail / South Kaibab Trail: If you want to descend into the canyon, these are the main trails. Be aware that the climb is strenuous and you need to be well-prepared (water, snacks, sunscreen). Do not hike to the river and back in one day.
    • Sunrise and Sunset: Experience the magical display of colors on the canyon rim at sunrise or sunset—an unforgettable experience.

Day 11Grand Canyon West's Eagle Point – Skywalk

For a unique experience, visit Grand Canyon West, managed by the Hualapai Tribe.

  • At Grand Canyon West:
    • Grand Canyon Skywalk: A horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet over the canyon rim, offering a dizzying view of the depths.
    • Eagle Point: The site of the Skywalk, named for a rock formation that resembles an eagle with its wings spread.
    • Hualapai Ranch: Experience the Old West with wagon rides, lasso demonstrations, and cowboy entertainment.

Day 12Return to Las Vegas, Nevada (approx. 2 hours drive from Grand Canyon West)

Enjoy the final leg of your drive back to Las Vegas. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute souvenir shopping or a final spin on the slot machines before returning your rental car and heading home.

We wish you a memorable and safe trip!

Can I change the travel date?

Yes, it is possible to change your travel date. A change can be accommodated under the following conditions:

  1. The alternative tour date you wish to join has met the minimum number of required participants.

  2. There is still availability on that new date.

Please note that a service fee will be charged for processing this change.

My discount code is not working, what do I do?

Often, this happens for a few common reasons. Could you please double-check the following?

  1. Typo or Extra Spaces: The code might have been entered incorrectly. The easiest way to avoid this is to copy and paste the code directly into the discount box.

  2. Expiration Date: Most promotional codes have an expiration date. Please ensure the code is still valid.

  3. Terms and Conditions: Some codes are specific to certain products, require a minimum purchase amount, or are for first-time customers only. Please check the terms associated with the discount.

  4. One-Time Use: If you’ve used this code before, it may have been a one-time-use-only coupon.

Do I need to apply visa?

That is a very important question, but it’s impossible for me to give you a simple “yes” or “no” answer. The requirement for a visa depends entirely on two key factors:

  1. Your Country of Citizenship (the passport you will be traveling on).

  2. The Country You Plan to Visit (your destination).

Visa rules are specific agreements between countries. For example, a citizen of Canada might not need a visa to visit Japan for a short tourist stay, but a citizen of another country might.

How to Find Out if You Need a Visa

Here is a reliable, step-by-step guide to determine your specific visa requirements:

1. Identify Your Destination and Citizenship: Be clear on which passport you hold and where you are going.

2. Check the Official Embassy or Consulate Website: This is the most accurate and trustworthy source of information. * Search online for: “Embassy of [Destination Country] in [Your Country of Citizenship]” (e.g., “Embassy of France in the United States”). * On the embassy’s official website, look for a section called “Visas,” “Consular Services,” or “Entry Requirements.” * This section will have the most current information on requirements for tourists, business travelers, and students from your country.

3. Use Your Government’s Travel Advisory Website: Your own country’s foreign affairs or state department website often provides visa information for citizens traveling abroad. * For U.S. citizens, the U.S. Department of State’s “Learn About Your Destination” page is an excellent resource. You can enter your destination and see the entry, exit, and visa requirements.

4. Consider Key Factors: * Purpose of Travel: Are you traveling for tourism, business, study, or to work? The visa type will vary. * Duration of Stay: Many countries allow short, visa-free stays (e.g., up to 90 days) for tourists but require a visa for longer periods. * Visa Waiver Programs: Some countries have special programs. For example, the United States has the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), which allows citizens of certain countries to visit for up to 90 days with an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) instead of a full visa. Europe is launching a similar system called ETIAS.

Important Warning: Visa rules can change without notice. Always check the official embassy or consulate website for the most up-to-date information before you book any travel. Applying for a visa can be a lengthy process, so it is crucial to start well in advance of your planned departure date.

Do you have insurance covered?

That’s an excellent and important question. To give you the clearest answer, it’s helpful to distinguish between two different types of insurance:

  1. Our Company’s Liability Insurance.

  2. Your Personal Travel Insurance.

1. Our Company’s Liability Insurance

Yes, our company is fully licensed and carries comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance.

This policy covers incidents that may occur as a direct result of our operations or negligence. It is a professional standard that protects our guests in the event of an accident for which our company is found responsible.

However, this insurance does not cover circumstances that are personal to you or outside of our direct control. For example, it does not cover:

  • You needing to cancel your trip due to a personal illness.

  • Your flight being canceled, causing you to miss the tour.

  • Lost or stolen baggage.

  • A medical emergency you experience on the trip that is unrelated to our services.

This is why personal travel insurance is so crucial.

2. Your Personal Travel Insurance (Not Included)

Personal travel insurance is not included in the cost of our tours.

We strongly recommend that every one of our guests purchases their own comprehensive travel insurance policy before embarking on their trip. This is for your own financial protection and peace of mind.

A good travel insurance policy typically provides coverage for:

  • Trip Cancellation & Interruption: Reimburses you if you have to cancel or cut your trip short due to unforeseen events like illness, injury, or a family emergency.

  • Emergency Medical & Dental Care: Covers costs for doctors, hospitals, and emergency medical evacuation if you get sick or injured on your trip.

  • Lost or Delayed Baggage: Reimburses you for lost, stolen, or damaged luggage.

  • Travel Delays & Missed Connections: Covers expenses incurred if your flight is delayed or you miss a connection.

In summary: While we are fully insured as a business, this does not replace the need for your own personal travel insurance. We strongly advise you to purchase a policy that covers you for the full duration of your travels.
